On this page we shall document and discuss early Christian sects and groups from the 1st-4th century, when the Council of Nicea was made and an official Church and Christian Orthodox Doctrine was established. Studying and examining early Christianity reveals a whole world of interesting facts, and how there were several Christian groups who radically differed with modern day Christianity, and with what many Christians consider orthodoxy.
