Jesus will return, not Muhammad (AS)!

One rather amusing argument that Christians try to use against Muslims is the fact that Islam teaches that Jesus will one day return to restore peace and order, not the prophet Muhammad, and from this they assert that this must make Jesus superior as well as somehow being divine!

What makes this amusing is that yes Islam teaches that Isa (AS) will return, however so that's not a good thing for Christians, and they shouldn't try to use that as a plus for them! Christians simply like to say that Jesus will return according to Islam, yet they don't actually quote what he will do when he returns!

So the aim of this article is to simply show what Jesus will do when he returns to earth, once we read what he is going to do, I don't think the Christians will be too happy.

Muslim  Book 001, Number 0289:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger or Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: I swear by Allah that the son of Mary will certainly descend as a just judge and he would definitely break the cross, and kill swine and abolish Jizya and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavour to (collect Zakat on it). Spite, mutual hatred and jealousy against one another will certainly disappear and when he summons people to accept wealth, not even one would do so.

Muslim Book 001, Number 0292:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: What would you do when the son of Mary would descend amongst you and would lead you as one amongst you? Ibn Abi Dhi'b on the authority of Abu Huraira narrated: Your leader amongst you. Ibn Abi Dhi'b said: Do you know what the words:" He would lead as one amongst you" mean? I said: Explain these to me. He said: He would lead you according to the Book of your: Lord (hallowed be He and most exalted) and the Sunnah of your Apostle (may peace be upon him).

Muslim Book 001, Number 0293:

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: A section of my people will not cease fighting for the Truth and will prevail till the Day of Resurrection. He said: Jesus son of Mary would then descend and their (Muslims') commander would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say: No, some amongst you are commanders over some (amongst you). This is the honour from Allah for this Ummah.

Bukhari Volume 3, Book 34, Number 425:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizya (a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are in the protection, of the Muslim government). Then there will be abundance of money and no-body will accept charitable gifts.

Bukhari Volume 3, Book 43, Number 656:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts).

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 55, Number 657:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them." (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the son of Maryam (the son of Mary, i.e. Jesus) will certainly pronounce the Talbiyah for Hajj or for ?Umrah, or for both  in the valley of Rawha." (Narrated by Muslim, 1252). The valley of Rawha' is a place between Makkah and Madeenah.

[Translator's note: The Talbiyah is a prayer recited by pilgrims going to Makkah. It may be translated as follows: "Here I am at your service, O Allaah, here I am. Here I am at Your Service, You have no partner, here I am. All praise and blessings are Yours, and all dominion. You have no partner."]

So Jesus will return and do the following:

-Destroy the Cross, the symbol of Christianity, in effect this means Jesus will destroy Christianity

-He will judge and rule by the Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet

-He will come and pray the Muslim prayer with the Muslims, and he will pray under a Muslim imam

-He will perform the pilgrimage to Makkah

So there we go, Jesus will return, but he will do all of the above as well! Perhaps Christians could start quoting these narrations as well before they try to use the return of Jesus as an argument!

And Allah Knows Best!
